We don't have any backers or council funding. The space runs on donations and the time people put in. Down the line we'll apply for grants we're entitled to as a community space, and we want to eventually pay people properly for the work they do here. For now it's on us.
Everything goes back into keeping the space open and the community running.
The biggest cost by far. If we can't pay rent there's no space, so this always comes first.
Keeping things free means covering costs ourselves. Printing, materials, equipment, whatever's needed.
Sometimes people in the community need practical support. We help where we can, no questions asked.
Photocopying, printing, getting stuff out into the world. Old school but it works.
Easiest way to donate. Card payments, one-off or regular. Anything helps.
Donate on GoFundMePrefer to send money directly, here are our details.
The space is free to use because we don't want money to be a barrier. Time and skills are just as useful.
Help set up events, make tea, do admin, fix things. Turn up and ask what needs doing.
Run a workshop, teach something, offer what you know to whoever needs it.
Tell people we exist. Share events. Stick a flyer up. Old school still works.
Tools, art supplies, food, furniture. If you've got things we could use just get in touch.
